Most new launches around Sungai Besi are leasehold. Aricia is freehold — and for buyers, that difference runs deeper than a line on the title.

Freehold vs leasehold, briefly

In Malaysia, a freehold title is held in perpetuity, while a leasehold title runs for a fixed term — commonly 99 years — after which it must be renewed with the state, usually for a premium. Both are perfectly ownable, but they behave differently over time.
